Established in 1896
The Masonville Mercantile has been a staple in Larimer County since its establishment in 1896 after a small gold rush in the area. While the gold rush was short lived, the historic general store was not and has served the community for over a century, providing locals and visitors alike with unique gifts, everyday staples and souvenirs. Legend has it that while the store was rolled on logs over a three day period to its present location, merchandise was sold out of the windows!
As the new owners of The Masonville Mercantile, we hope to blend the nostalgic with the newfangled. Whether you need a quick snack on a bike ride, a unique souvenir for an out-of-town guest, or that special gift made by a local artisan, we hope you will stop in.
Above all, our hope is that customers will continue to have that "Aaahhh, Masonville" experience that is 128 years in the making!
